Shirakawa Go
These are basically a small village with houses
that has a roof built from stacks of layered
dried straws
some of the houses are put up for exhibition
and some of them people still live in them
there was a bus that takes you to the top
of a hill where this photo was taken
as you can see the view was beautiful!!
this was what I had for lunch there :)
hmmm...nice lol
This is from Tokyo Asakusa
these are miniature Japanese lantern sort of thing
you can't actually light a fire inside or
anything tho lol
they're sold for 650 yen each :)
dunno how much that is in other currencies
(100yen is about 50p in UK money so that's
roughly...£5.00 each)
